LED headlights

I see that there are many companies that advertise led headlights bulbs for a reasonable price and they are plug and play. Has anybody done this conversion

Thanks......

Re: LED headlights

I have several friends who have the AM LED conversions and they look great and say they were easy to install.

Re: LED headlights

I have done one as well; very easy. However, I was replacing my HIDs with them in a light smoke headlight; they were terrible. HIDs went back in.

Behind a clear Lens, I suspect they would be good. One thing to note, mine had fans over the heat sink; that is a failure point as a moving item. The fans seemed really cheap and did not have any IP rating on them, meaning they did not appear to be tested, qualified or even looked like they would handle the environment if a good splash hit them. May not be a big deal at all, but worth noting.

Re: LED headlights

Did anybody have any interference with their radio because of the led lights?

When I installed the Raxiom LED conversion kit, I did get a little radio interference when the headlights were on. But didn't bother me at all since I rarely listen to the radio, usually streaming music from smartphone via bluetooth or listening to my Borla Stingers out back
