Interesting.

So what should I look to send you? A newer car or older? Does it matter what the car looks like? Old and beat up or new and shiny?

BTW: I am making pulled pork for Carlisle. Make about 15 to 20 pounds.

Doesn't matter, just one of your favorite cars. The 67 Chevelle would work. Yours has a little more paint left than my did but still miss it, just wasn't worth fixing being a base 2 door.

Unfortunately we cannot make it, I just canceled our room and it’s a bummer yes but more importantly I wanted to mention that I will obviously not be bringing paper plates, I apologize!

Re: 2019 All-Ford Nationals at Carlisle, PA.

Any plans for something to do on Thursday?
I will need to bring our Mach1 to the show field around 1 pm that day so whatever we did in the morning I'd need to leave in time..

What's going on at the Museum in Hershey this year? Or we could go play "Army" again. (LOL)

It appears nothing interesting is at the ACA Museum unless we go there, then it gets interesting..

Not sure if there is anything new at the Army War college.

I'm good with what ever the group wants to do as I'll need to head to show field at some point.

I'm just a hotbed of neutrality on what we do but I'd also like to go to the Showfield early.

Yeah, me too it seems..
Maybe this year we just chill in the hotel and head to show field whenever.. I'm happy to not be going to work so i'm good with whatever we do...

I only ask whats up so we aren't thinking we should have made plans come Thursday morning.. Even though I may not be going along wanted to make sure everyone had a say in whats happening.

Yeah, I'm fine with sleeping in, have breakfast, and then pick up my packet at the showfield, and check out the vendors and early setups.

We're good with whatever for Thursday. I have to go to the field at some point to swap out the Entry decal for our GT/CS. Apparently they added a category for it after I signed up.

I've seen the artwork, they have a really nice color design on the back.

Re: 2019 All-Ford Nationals at Carlisle, PA.

I picked up an officially licensed camo ford hat the other day for the raffle looking for other stuff too.

Called TJ's and bumped our number up to 28 for Thursday evening dinner. Any other additions or subtractions for that night please let me know, they usually call me next week to confirm since its a large group and I give a final number then.. 28 is about what we have every year.

FYI: As for BBQ items if we have a few last minute needs we can figure them out when we get to the speak with everyone. Other than that if you did not have a chance to donate anything we may put out a cash donation container as the hamburger meat is our pricey item. I believe its close to $100. One member always takes this cost on I'd like to possibly give back a few bucks to off set this cost. Same member has made some really nice donations for the raffle he never holds back on making the event a good one, would just like to offset the cost a bit..

I will be there Thursday morning sometime. Was there any plans before Thursday dinner? I know the museum tour was talked about.

I’d be more then willing to donate to help with costs

Nothing really planned at the moment. If that changes we'll try to update the forums to reflect whats going on.

Since it's become apparent that there is a .00001% chance of me making it this year due to work issues, I would like to say that I will miss you all this year, and I really wanted to be there for the Mach 1 (and Boss) 50th anniversary. I hope everyone has a great event and Ihope to catch up with y'all soon.

I was very close to sharing your pain. I was denied my vacation. I will be lucky to get back in time to do dinner Thursday evening. For awhile on Friday it looked like the job was going to push and I'd be in the office for the week but the customer moved production around because I had refused to travel on Monday. If anyone is wondering why I would give up 7hrs of double pay just to drive, there is a pattern with them assuming, I'll give up a holiday and or part of a vacation so the job gets done and the customer is happy. After 14 years, it is going to stop. I am on call this weekend so they still managed to interfere with my plans.
