Got My Trunk Lid Mat In The Mail Today

Guy on Facebook made it. Now I have to wait for the weather to break to install it. I'm gonna try to use really strong velcro or 3m tape to install it. It comes with self tapping screws with predrilled holes. I'm not drilling holes in my trunk if I don't have to.

Haha Yeah the Nintendo doesn't work more than it actually works. I need another 72 pin.

I'd also like to get the info on how to get one. Looks really good! I've been wanting to do something to dress up my very plain looking trunk lid. Thanks

Re: Got My Trunk Lid Mat In The Mail Today

Very nice. Here is a write up on how I made my own last year. I used a whole box of extreme velcro and to this day, it shows no sign of coming loose or even coming close to falling off. I need to make letters or a design for mine yet though. I made mine follow the exact lines on the bottom of the trunk. Even the little notches that stick out on each side. I wanted mine to go up higher into the trunk which is why those notches are on the top. That is where the wire harnesses are.

Yes I'm gonna use your velcro idea in the spring when I mount it. I'm not drilling holes in my trunk for sure.

Did you get a chance to install it? Did the velcro hold it up?
