Factory exaust manifold Rust removal

I am interested in removing exterior rust from exaust manifolds & having them coated.....has anyone done this & how hard are they to remove ?

You can wire brush / wheel them or take them to a shop to get media blasted. I'd recommend they port matching them to gaskets. The ports can use a clean up and remove casting slag.

Naval jelly will strip the rust.
