k&n or c&l ?

I currently have a k&n fipk and just picked up a c&l for the larger mass air housing, however the c&l seems pretty rough inside compared to the k&n with the smooth plastic, which I assume would affect flow. Anyone know if there is any power difference between the c&l with the larger mass air housing and the k&n with the stock housing?

Re: k&n or c&l ?

I thought about a C&L but had more concerns about heat soak. So i went with the K&N.

Re: k&n or c&l ?

The numbers show only a 2-5hp difference. nothing i would worry about I dont think its because of the rough texture, more or less because of how it bends. If your still worried about it tho, pick up some fine grit sand paper, and get to sanding I got the K&N because it showed to be the best intake for our cars.
