Re: Fastest car for under $50k...
Sad part is even those cars are pretty heavy! Imagine a New edge mustang with the engine of a GT500...

Re: Fastest car for under $50k...
looks like Dodge would find it embarrassing that they would post a picture of a new Challenger blowing smoke from an oil leak like that

Re: Fastest car for under $50k...
Why isn't the Mustang GT in that list? It has a better power to weight ratio than the Camaro! If they're gonna put the GT500 and Boss separately on that list why not add the GT also?

Re: Fastest car for under $50k...
Cause the boss' P-W ratio is better than the GT, and if they have 3 mustang in there it will look pretty bias :P

Re: Fastest car for under $50k...
Considering the Source is Forbes.com, I think not.

Re: Fastest car for under $50k...
The mustang gt and challenger rt 6 speed(the heaviest tested one I could find real quick was 4,082lbs/372hp = 10.97lbs/hp) would disagree. Hp for 2011+ rt's seems to be 376 now, but different articles say different things.
Those are just first ones to pop into my head, if that's it or not I dunno. |

Re: Fastest car for under $50k...
The 2013 mustang gt's are out and for sale and are now rated at 420hp and with a base price of like $30k its alot of bang for the buck.
