Purchased a Cobra - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

I finally gave up the wait and bought a 2003 DSG Cobra from a dealer in Escondido, CA. I ordered my Mach 1 on June 25th and did not have a VIN or build date. Every time I checked it was either "unsheduled/clean" or "material hold." Thanks for all the good information this site provided.

Dude I was in the same boat as you, (I ordered in May), still no VIN on the Mach 1. Not putting the Mach 1 down,(I luv the Mach) I dont regret buying the Cobra one bit, this thing is awesome. Just remembre that not everyone can have a Mach 1 or 03 Cobra for that matter, so we should be thankful we got what we got. The guys and gals getting Mach 1's are getting a cool car that they will enjoy and attract alot of attention with, but I get a big smile on my face when I let the Cobra breathe a little...

Photog...I live in Escondido and looked at your Cobra recently...it's a beauty...enjoy! I considered it too, but I gotta have the Mach....its the one I couldn't afford in 1969!

Hey Photog! I ordered in July and I barely got my vin a week ago!
Sorry! But I gotta have a Mach 1. I missed the first time these cars came out back in 69':THUMBSUP:

I'm in the same boat, finally went from Mat hold to unscheduled/clean. But, still waiting. Around here it is mighty cold and messy right now, so I guess it is better to wait until the roads are clear. I have thought about the Cobra a lot, though. Good thing my dealer doesn't have Sonic Blue in stock.
