what's sad

so I bought this used adj rear sway bar, which I had on my 2004 SY and installed it myself.
I went to install it when I was doing the springs and was like this thing isn't going to fit. I connected the guy that I bought it from and he reminded me of something important that I forgot.
I must drill into the frame, which I forgot about,
Steeda also took down their instructions, which sucks, because I would have remember.

Also I am shocked that they took away this part, because it makes a big difference when it is installed. This is why I was so happy when I found it.

Anyways, this part should be getting installed tomorrow or Sat and I can't wait to have it back on this Mach.

Just sad how our memory doesn't work as good as it should.

ASh .

I find it sad that information and parts for these cars are starting to disappear as well. I wonder how many Mach1s are actually left too.

Re: what's sad

its hard to justify keeping that stuff in stock at some point...I would imagine theyd have the instructions if contacted.

MGW stopped with a bunch of the Ford logos because Ford got after them and a bunch of others if I recall correctly. The other interior stuff just wasn't moving enough anymore Im sure. If for some reason I get rid of my car, the mgw stuff **** sure isnt going with it lol

Yea, I am sure that is what is going on when we really get around to looking at the numbers game.
Yes, I would take the time to remove stuff and keep it or sell it for a good price.

Exactly why they did...if you recall American Muscle used to be called Mustang tuning. Get hammered by Ford, paid a big fine and changed their name. I understand it from Ford's perspective to a point. The aftermarket industry drives new car sales. wish ford would be more supportive of it sometimes...

There is a dealer here that won't even sell Ford Racing Parts, but another that will install superchargers. They are all over the board.
