Wow, thats original. Never heard that one before. Anyways, we've officially past that title to our friends across the state line. WVU is now the chokies. Nothing we've done can ever compare to that tank job.

How can a a number two team in the nation loss to an unranked team just a couple/few weeks ago?? Bottom line is any of the top 5 to 6 teams (OSU, LSU, UGA, OK, VT and even HAWAII) have valid arguments for and against. Perfect time to start an 8 team playoff.
I'm sorry, but us spanking you by 41 means you do not get in before us. Gerogia won't because they didn't win their conference. They lost to Tennessee who lost to us. They're out. USC lost to Stanford, enough said, they are out. Oklahoma has the best chance of it not being LSU vs OSU, but we have better losses and better wins. And as for VT, yall are good, but not that good. Sorry. but even in our current condition we would still beat you. LSU makes the most sense, our schedule, not to mention being uindefeated in regulation, is our strongest case.

I feel bad for OSU, because it goinna be last year all over again for them.

Re: College Football back in full swing!

Undefeated in regulation is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. VT is undefeated in daylight hours. Makes just as much since. You lost to currently unranked ARK and Kentucky. We lost to two #2 ranked teams at the time and BC is still top 15. You beat an ok tenn team. We beat A BC team that was ranked higher than Tenn. Just last week VT was ranked higher than LSU in the polls. Weve had one loss since our game and Lsu has dropped two since week two. Im sorry but beating tenn by 7 is not worth going from 7 to 2 in the polls. Its obvious that media wants LSU in champ game. In the last month or so LSU has looked ok but not great. Yall have squeeked by in several wins. Def not the same team I saw in week two. VT has continued to improve, cant say the same for LSU.

If you still kept them on the schedule, you might not be catching all this crap. Come on, you played William & Mary (4-7), Eastern Carolina (7-5) & Ohio (6-6) for out of conference, Duke (1-11), North Carolina (4-8), Miami (5-7). You only played 4 rated teams during a 12 game season. Wonder why no one gives you any respect. Come on. The SEC beats the heck out of it's self each year. Look at what Florida did to TN, then look at what TN did to Georgia and gave away the game to LSU. And you mention that Wake beat Vanderbuilt, they did so on the last game of the season after Vandy had already had to play Alabama, Missippi, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky & Tennessee. William & Mary, Eastern Carolina, Ohio (Bobcats), Duke, North Carolina and a pitiful Miami. Not even close. ACC is for basketball, not football, sorry but that is one of those long truths like Christmas is December 25.

We still beat you head to head, and not by a little. Not by one two three or four or even 5 scores... we beat you by 6 touchdowns. And not beaten in regulation is a valid point. I'm glad you're ranked high, but we demolished you already. Everything you've said is pretty much nullified by that. And apparently the coaches agree. Check out the coach's poll

EDIT: and since you care so much about rankings. Kentucy was ranked when we lost to them. And one of those #2 that beat you was... wait for it... oh yea, it was LSU. You honestly thinnk VT deserves it over us? Seriously? There is no way.

Re: College Football back in full swing!

No I do not honestly think VT deserves it over LSU. I guess my whole point is that the BCS sucks and that it is media/money driven. You can look at anybodys schedules and EVERYONE plays cupcakes. Look at OSU schedule. Do I really think the ACC is tougher than the SEC, hell no. But the SEC is elite so they should never lose to a measly out of conference foe. The bottom line is that there are a lot of teams that have a legitimate claim on playing and its a bunch of talking heads and computers that are deciding. Can you imagine an eight team playoff and the $$$$$ that would generate.

If you watched the BCS game selection show, I can honestly say I was very impressed with...Hawaii! Those guys took the news that they were going to the Sugar Bowl with all the excitement of having won the lottery! They really appreciate the chance to go to a major bowl. I really think that sometimes when you are dealing with a team that is expected to be bowl bound, you sometimes lose sight of the fact that these are college kids playing a game with heart. Sometimes the money masks that, sometimes it' the 'grown ups' involved that keep it from being what it should be. Would I have ben happy to see LSU go to the Sugar Bowl? Not really, but not for the reasons most would think. It's not an elitest attitutude, it's just that New Orleans is onyl an hours drive. Most of us do it on a regular basis, most LSU students know the French Quater better than the do the LSU campus, so it's not a big deal. New Orleans doesn't really want LSU in the Sugar Bowl. No one from Baton Rouge is goign to spend the night, and by extention, the money that they'll want bowl visitors to spend while they are there. An Orange Bowl or Rose Bowl bid would be more appreciated by both sides of the gate had we not gotten the BCS bid, but...a bowl is a bowl. Enjoy what you get.
The SEC is a tough conference, and I'm not saying that there aren't tough teams and schedules for other conferences, but it will be interesting when the bowls are played to see how the SEC fares against all the other opponents.

By 3 you mean 3 TDs right? OU will lose like they always do. I'm looking at the Sugar Bowl to be one of the games to watch. It'll be interesting seeing Hawaii go up against a great defense. That's gonna be the one to watch I think.

Let's look at some facts before you make a blinded statement that OU will lose as always.

Jim Tressel is 73-15 in regular season games. 6-1 against their greatest rival *ichigan(can't say the word) and 4-2 in bowl games. That is not a 0-6 record which must mean they don't always lose in their bowl games. They are also 1-1 in national championship games under Tressel. Sure they had their azz's handed to them last year, but that don't mean they always lose.

I agree, this year I'm not sure if OU is the best team in the nation. But I can say that for your LSU Tigers. The same thing can be said for WVU, Oklahoma, USC, Virginia, and any other team in the top 10. I think the two teams that deserve it are the ones playing for the championship.

My prediction is that it is going to be a very close game. I don't believe that LSU is heads and tails above OU or any other team for that matter. They are good, but can be beat. OU is good and can be beat.

With that said.

Fact #1: I was referring to Oklahoma, last time I checked that's what OU stands for. Look at their BCS record the last 4 years. They haven't won a game. Stoops has been incapable of winning a bowl game since I've been in college. And I'm sorry, but have you seen your schedule? One of my managers at work is an OSU alum and she's been scared since day 1 of this season about playing LSU in the title game. I'm not saying OSU isn't good, but with the soft schedule (even in conference), they don't deserve a shot at the title. The same thing happened with yall last year. Your schedule was kinda weak, but you went undefeated. You got your shot and got demolished by a team from a better conference. History doesn't always repeat itself, but the odds are looking pretty good at the moment.

EDIT: I was gonna be nice and ignore the fact you apparently don't know the acronym for your own team, but since you said we are for sure not the best and "OU" () is, I've decided to ignore anything you say about college football for the remainder of the year.

Sorry, had to do it... all in good fun right?

0-8 against SEC in bowls. It might be closer than last years game, however, OSU was probably better last year than this year and LSU is very physical with SEC speed. Bring on the games, enough bench talkin'.
