Maybe I can see if Boss 330 can build you a twin of mine?
It's a good starting point and saves you from getting a lot of BS parts.
If you are serious, I can configure one here as a drop-in,
and have it ready when you are.
That way, once it's all said and done,
the swap can probably be done in a day.
Maybe 2.
FloridaOrange (Matt) knows a local tuner here to burn a chip for it.

I am serious because I've already sat down with 2 builders up here working up detailed estimates and I am not too happy for what I'd be getting for the money. When you guys get time if you could PM with some ballparks? And from what I've read, a twin of yours is a good model except mine's an auto and would need a verter and flexplate to mate to the 8bolt crank, should be no biggy. (wouldn't think of runnung the stock verter with that rig)

Thanks Birdman

PM sent.
We can go over things.
It's just as easy to build 2 as it is one.
Just have to get another engine stand.

Re: New Project "R" thread

Got more electrical items working,
then pulled the dash and installing brand new harness.
Pretty easy actually.
Just have to take your time.
Did some engine height adjustments last night,
and may need to lower it just a bit more. (to make a shaker bracket possible)
Not hard if it all goes ok.
Also, modded the tail light harnesses so all 3 taillights on each side
work with the brake lights, not just 2 of them.
Easy as adding a 3 prong socket to each side.

I am installing a 2000 "R" hood on the car when all is said and done.
After all this development work,
it would be silly to not at least try and get a shaker to hook to a 5.4 32V.
I think it is very possible though.
More minor adjustments to overall engine height.
Absolutely no offense anyone here, but I am trying to make this idiot proof.
Follow instructions, and BINGO!!
Sweating every detail here.

Well if you expect me to pay for this thing when I fly down there then it better have a Mach1 hood on it with a shaker hood scoop. Don't want no Cobra R hood with fake cooling vents!!!!

The Mach 1 shaker bracket will be available.
Have to develop it first.
(make sure it works)

Mach 460 help needed

Did more wiring work today.
I have a question if anyone knows, I would sure appreciate it.
This car has all new dash wiring.
Used my VIN (04 Mach 1) to get the correct harnesses.
Does the Mach 460 Stereo (2004 model year in case it makes a difference)
have a FRONT amplifier?
I have heard both ends of this from different sources.
I have looked on my Mach and cannot find any amp aside from the rear two.
Anyone know if it does have a front amp, and where is it in the car?
I have heard it is in the airbag module area plus other places.
(It's driving me nuts)

Re: New Project "R" thread

I found where an amp would mount.
It's on the dash "frame" below the radio. (Rearward of the airbag module)
I don't think I saw a front amp there on mine.
Have to look in the AM.
