Sorry Tony! On the application form for the registration of the car show... There is no Mach 1 specific group, so which class are we entering in to hopefully be all parked together?

We have made tentative arrangements to stage at the host hotel and then have the MCA people park us together, despite being in different classes, depending on the model year. On the car show form, you can just sign up for 2003 or 2004, but we will work with the MCA to keep us together as much as possible.

Just a plug for staying at the host hotel...

I just discovered this event post. I am very interested in attending, if possible. I can answer any of your Mach tuning and performance questions in person. Perhaps we could also have a custom tuning session as I am pretty good with the Machs...

FYI - I tuned an 05 MGT and 2 Machs at a cruise-in last night here in Peoria.

Let me know if there is still room at the approved hotels and any other event details - I am reading through the list of posts right now.

I just found out the event is sold out.
Two Mustangs from here were planning on heading down for this.
I had emailed the MVM on the 4th asking about the show but never received a reply.

I was all excited to get down there for this one too, especially since I could not make the Cinci show.

It is just not worth it to drive down there and spend a couple days if I can't be part of the show.
I'll be cancelling the hotel next week.

I just find it not right that an MCA Grand National event was capped at 350 cars.

A local Mustang meet last weekend brought in 110 cars and it was not advertised on the MCA site, or Mustang Times etc. etc.

Ray et al,

The MVM club secured 50 more spots but they are going FAST! Get your registration mailed ASAP to secure a spot. This is show is well-publicized and obviously popular! It will be unlikely they will take show-day registrations.

The Mach 1 Registry members who get resistered NOW and stay or meet at the host hotel on that Saturday morning of the show will be able to park together, so please mail your registration NOW.

I spoke with Joe Horne of MVM and show co-chair today, and these words of wisdom come from him.

Lastly, if you mailed in the last couple of days, you should be OK. I was relieved to hear that, as I sent mine on August 10th!

Did I mention to mail your registration NOW?

The limit was imposed by the space they had previously arranged for, based on anticipated demand. Obviously, the demand was higher than anticipated!

How can we register and how will we no that we are in I really don't wunt to travel that far for nothing. Give me a address to send it to or to fax it to me and my friend have been planning on this show all summer but there was no info. it always says check back. Thanks for all the info.

Please go to the 2005 MCA show section of the Mahoning Valley Mustang website to download the form. There is other information there regarding the show. As far as confirming that your registration was accepted, I recommend contacting Joe Horne (e-mail joehmustg1@aol.com). I will be doing the same since I mailed mine in 1 day before the deadline.
