Any Saleen options...wheels, brakes, s/c, Recaros, special paint?

I'm not a huge fan of zip ties holding my bumper covers on, so maybe $5k?

Re: 2000 S281 Saleen Mustang Convertible

Hmm, what special paint color is it? Paint option was like $5k & up.

Do you have the last few digits of the VIN? I can look in my Saleen bible.

Re: 2000 S281 Saleen Mustang Convertible

I thought S281 meant it WAS supercharged If it ain't blown, I'd pay $5k or so and say the rest is a bonus

Re: 2000 S281 Saleen Mustang Convertible

Correction fellas, sc281 is the standard blower car. The 281e is the "extreme" car.

The book shows multiple cars with three last VIN 458...2 verts & 1 coupe.

Neither vert is showing supercharger as a Saleen option.

#44 - 3.55s, Speedster, Hood, Chrome Wheels, Black Top
#52 - 3.55s, Floormats, Chrome Wheels, Trac Control, Black Top

Do you happen to have the number off the bumper or serial plates? There were 983 cars built so maybe I missed the one you're looking at?

Re: 2000 S281 Saleen Mustang Convertible

Actually called Saleen the next day. It is number #52. A friend's grandfather picked it up at a auction. Just seeing if it is real.

Re: 2000 S281 Saleen Mustang Convertible

Depending on how much he got it for. Personally, I wouldnt want it if it didnt have the supercharger.
