Ford announced they will have an SUV/Crossover all electric vehicle by 2020 wearing the Mach1 badge... ridiculous!

Am I the only one pissed about this? As far as I'm concerned it will totally soil the legacy of the Mach1. I don't care if the new vehicle could actually do Mach 1, I don't want my performance muscle car associated with something electric or an SUV. I don't want to tell someone I have a Mach1 and then they think I'm driving an electric SUV.

I'm all for making a performance electric car for the future, just don't use the Mach1 moniker! It would be better suited to use the performance truck moniker, "Lightning". Wouldn't that make more sense!

Sorry, just had to vent somewhere.
