Re: AFS mach rims in 18's or 17's ???

Do the 18x9 and 18x 10 fit without any spacers or issues? Clear the stock brakes?

I wouldn't see any fitment issues with the stock brakes. I have the 17x9 and they clear the stock brakes. I installed the Cobra R front calipers and only had to use a quarter inch spacer to clear the caliper. The back spacing between the 17 and 18" rims should be the same. It should be just the diameter that changes as the width typically determines the back spacing.

I don't have time to look on their site but they give you all the dimensions, you can compare the 17 and 18" rims.

Just mounted my 18" AFS reps last night. No fitment issues at all, seem to be of great quality.

Re: AFS mach rims in 18's or 17's ???

I know old thread, but here's my setup.
18-9 front with Toyo Proxes T1 Sport 275-35-18 tire
18-10.5 rear with Toyo Proxes R888 305-3518 tire

Fit like a glove.

Love them.
Had them on my past red Mach 1 and have them on my current Cobra mustang as well.
Ride comfortable, fronts have minimal road noise, the rears have a little more noise as they are a harder race compound.
However the rears (R888) hook great for a drag radial type of tire and I recommend them highly for a daily driver.

Thanks! I'm going to go with those when the Mach needs new shoes. The MT street comps I have now are not bad, but everyone who has the Toyo's likes them. They really are t that much more $$ either.

Those wheels and stance look awesome! I've been running AFS 18x9 Mach rims for years and now when I see a Mach with 17s they look too small. Only problem with the AFS 18s is weight though. They're so friggen heavy! Jim
