Excellent, I'm going to have to track that build thread down, I hadnt planned on a cogged setup at this time. Were you happy with the renegade setup ? How much reworking was required ? I would plan to use the earlier timing cover its designed around i think.

you will make your own mounts...that isn't the issue. You will need to tuck the radiator under the support. I had a fluidyne and trimmed the upper pegs (aluminum) off and slide it onto some rubber homemade mounts and made some 90 degree brackets for the top....

I had to change my cover as well. OK...the toughest part FOR me was I was one of FEW that did this conversion. as far as "happy"....yes. it made a tons of power and was actually a beast...(kinda too much)...
YOU will have some mods to do BUT it is listed in my build...I will post it up.

Re: Procharger head units and power goals

Thanks man, so do you think the cogged setup caused you some of your grief ? Obviously this kinda stuff isnt a bolt on and go type of this. I expected, remove AC condenser and compressor, ABS motor delete, tubular from bumper support, battery in trunk, should fit alright after that i'd think ?

I see you're local to me, I've seen Roy's car at Milan, you plan to be out there at all this year ?

I think most of my grief really was from being a new setup with no one to ask about certain ways of doing things. I had to figure a LOT out on my own. BUT once I got it...it was a pretty easy process. I was really worried about breaking crank snouts so I did buy the ATI super pulley. It acts as a sprag pulley...that saves a LOT of issues once you are on and off the gas...along with belt issues. I also built a support (overkill to be honest)....BUT Iam still on the same BELT for 4 years now. I MIGHT make it out....I just got my car back and actually has to go to ROY's to have the FAST xfi wired in....and YES...it will fit fine. You can text me if you have other questions.

IT might make it this year...might now...

That would explain why the radiator I had for a 96 wouldn't fit in the 01. Guess I should have held onto the Mishimoto I had out of a 97 for my 04.
