If you're interested, there will be an autox at Maple Grove on Nov 9th. This is a non points autox. Details are listed on myautoevents.com

We'll be there working the event as well as driving. I'm not an autox guy and generally suck at them. So come out and run and/or come spectator and laugh at me. Either way, cross your fingers for no rain. We will hold the event in the rain but the Mach doesn't drive in the rain

My Mach turned 11 on OCT. 20th I ordered it from the factory, it was raining when I went to look at it but I wouldn't take it home for 3 more days when it stopped raining. I don't have wipers on it but I carry one in the trunk, I don't even know if the wipers work, I have never turned them on. I will be coming to Maple Grove to watch and if it's raning I will be in my truck.

We'll be running the Hershey autox this Sunday in order to try out the new clutch. I don't expect to turn any sort of real times. My wife will be running as well. If you come watch that one, she'll most likely beat my time as I NEVER seem to stay on course. LOL!!!!
Last time, I thought I was doing well. So, on a short straight, I rolled on the throttle in 2nd gear and the tires grabbed hard as the boost climbed. The car shot across the lot and I laid on the brakes only to collect 4 cones under the car. I took them to the finish i was so mad.

So me and autox don't mix too well. We have an understanding that I'll knock down cones and it'll just accept me and kick me out with a DNF. I don't mind. Hahahahaha! For real racing, I'll hillclimb.

I turn my wipers on all the time. It's a daily driver. The wipers skip, jump and make that annoying sound going up, but are butter smooth going down.

Maybe I can twist/adjust them somehow. dnt, dnt, dnt, dnt dant dnt

I had a chance to auto x in the rain with the mach. It was actually a pile of fun. It looks really cool seeing the sitting water being flung way high above the cars!

Steve, really thinking about coming down. Work threw a wrench in the plans though. I no longer have this weekend off, flying to Cali in the morning.

Hmm, November. That means I need antifreeze in the car again. Guess I'll do that on Friday.

Just talked to Stew and he will be bringing the Firebird. Along with testing the Watts system he is also trying the 3.42 gears for the first time, he broke the 4.10s. lol
