So when I get my stock file back on and then turn off PATS, I should be ok?

i was told all you need to do is swap the PATs sensor and odometer from your OEM cluster and everything works as normal
so if your turning off the PATs the only change would be to swap out the odometer to keep your original mileage

There's one for sale near me, are they just plug-n-play or would some sort of tuning be required?

I think you need to get the PATS reprogrammed for the new cluster.
