Headers for an auto.
Hi guys, did a search but couldnt find any info. I would like to install headers on my stock engine automatic trans. mach1. Is there a set of headers that fit without any modifications.
Thanks....

Re: Headers for an auto.
I am running a set of Kooks 1 7/8" primary headers with a 3" collector in conjunction with an auto in my car. They fit without modification. The only clearance issue I had was the passenger side O2 sensor being really close to my transmission's AFE Power deep pan.

Re: Headers for an auto.
I was at a car show last weekend and a guy with an auto Mach had some mac headers that he bought from American Muscle. He said the fit was pretty good but they sit very low so he doesn't have much clearance.

Re: Headers for an auto.
I ran Mac long tubes with Mac offroad prochamber on my 2003 red Mach 1 with an auto. Fit perfect with good ground clearance.
Also cleared the auto just fine.

I have mac long tubes and they fit perfect, for half the price of kooks and ARH.

Re: Headers for an auto.
for stock applications...I agree I would stick with a cheaper header.....if you do plan on adding power though...I would look at going larger. Most guys wont need em though unless you plan on making over 600
