Does anyone use fuel injector cleaners..?
If so after what mileages. I heard after 15k.
I haven't as of yet after 33,000 miles. The owner's manual says not to use them. Will using them harm the engine..or not using them degrade performance? Any insights would be appreciated! thanks

Redline's fuel injector clearner workes great. Helped me get to 225,000 miles on SHO before replacing an injector.

Sea Foam into the intake manifold via a vaccum line every 7k for me. Gota love the smoke!!! LOL Yeah I know its not injector cleaner, but my injectors are new so I dont need clean them, but you can add Sea Foam to your gas tank as well to clean out the fuel system.

Lucas upper cylinder/fuel injector cleaner is a great addition to each tank. Buy the gallon and use with each tank. It will help your mileage slightly also.

Re: Does anyone use fuel injector cleaners..?
Sorry. I didnt wanna start a new thread. I also use Lucas every time I fill up. I use it more for the upper cylinder lubricant than the cleaner though. I want the engine to maintain it's compression for as long as possible. I have noticed that the exhaust smells a little weird sometimes though. I called Lucas and they said it's safe to use and won't harm the cats since there is no alcohol in the additive. Does anyone else use a fuel additive when they fill up?

Re: Does anyone use fuel injector cleaners..?
I wouldnt use lucas with every fill up honestly, maybe every oil change is safer IMO. The best pour in gas tank treatment is chevron techron concentrate. Seafoam is the best for blowing out your carbon by sucking it into your engine directly. Lucas also makes decent stuff.
