We've told him that is WAYYYYY to much boost for the stock parts.
He's aware and doesn't beat on the car.

He's also a member on here and should post more of his feedback soon.

Ya, that's me, it's tearing me up. I can't hammer down as much as I want. I'm coming up with a plan now to forge the internals. Thanks again Ryan for posting my MACH, greatly appreciate it.

Re: Eaton Swapped Mach 1 - Shaun Fisher

What pulley setup is on it? 520hp on 15lbs is not too good. Are you sure its a mach motor? Are you running no timing with it pig rich?

Usually eaton swapped machs make 500 with bolt ons on a stock cobra pulley making 8, 9 lbs with low timing. JayB made just over 500 with 14 degrees of timing and 9-10lbs.

The hp level isn't too wild, but 15lbs is going to make those rods beg for mercy. Any slight detonation and those puppies are going to bend.

What else comes in a Mach1 other than a Mach1 engine.

Re: Eaton Swapped Mach 1 - Shaun Fisher

One that was swapped to lower compression pistons or a cobra engine.

Not trying to bash the car, looks like a great car. Just trying to say you can run it at 500hp with a larger pulley, make 8lbs, and beat on it for years to come without having to build the engine.

+1 , its Your car but id drop that boost, add some timing and actually enjoy that power instead of tippy toe around the fact. lol. Hopefully if/when it goes it doesnt take out Everything. IE; heads, crank , block. So you can reuse some parts on your build..

That's fine, offer your advise and don't dismiss my hard work. I'm new to boost performance.

Re: Eaton Swapped Mach 1 - Shaun Fisher

Great job, combo, and execution. Love the shaker brackets.

I am all over this. My Eaton should be here today and I am going for a similar setup but I have some minor porting in the heads and cams are '99 Cobra cams.

Hell yeah.

Fastlane is no stranger to Eaton Swaps
They did mine about a year and a half ago. They pulled timing to keep it as safe as they could and had me at 487hp /491tq with 10lbs of boost but I had them put the stock pulley back on because I know how I drive.

I'm still playing it safe on 8lbs of boost

Oh yeah...Ryan, I didn't know you were on here

I remember you. We meet at the Pro Dyno some years ago. You had yours dynoed for the first time, I believe. I had my MACH1 with me there as well.
