StaBil?

Well, I think this may be the last week for the Mach before spring It will probably come back out sometime in early March, so it will be sitting completely quiet for 4 months. If I put a fresh tank of fuel in it before I put it away, do I need to add StaBil or should it be fine for 4 months?

Every winter I...

1. Change the oil/filter.
2. Change the coolant from redline to real antifreeze.
3. Add a bottle of stabil to a fresh gas tank.
4. Wash her, dry, put on cover.
5. Pull the spark plugs and add some oil to coat the cylinders.
6. Plug in my battery tender.
7. Kiss her goodnight for 4 months.

Unfortunately, since I'm still waiting for my '04 Mach1, I'm talking about my motorcycle. With the new Mach1 (my first new car), I'm sure I'll probably do everything except #5.

Go ahead and use the Stabil, I have for years with no fuel system problems (knock on wood)

Great stuff. I use it in my boat. The gas just sits from Sept. through late May. Always starts right up!
