Scammers! - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

I posted my Mach on Craigslist and I've gotten about 8 people who were "interested" in it. However, everyone of them "suggested" I get a report from vinchecku.com or roadfax.com. These people are just scammers trying to get you to use their service.

How do I know they are scammers? I offered to provide them with a carfax report but no, they insisted the vinchecku or roadfax was better because their mechanic told them so.

same thing happened to me, but mine was a computerized "bot". I got it twice right after I posted my Mach for sale, but after that they quit. I think you can report them to C/L but who knows if that does any good there ?

They are scammers for sure! My brother was selling his truck on C/L just over a year ago and had the same issue. He went to the suggested websites and they were asking for a lot of personal information including payment methods. Needless to say he put it in the R gear and ignored those inquiries.
