I just flew back into NZ from the States and Canada yesterday, hadnt been on the registry for nearly 3 weeks, was looking forward to catching up on the threads I had missed while away, when scrolling down saw Franks Obituary thread. Dam it!, I thought Frank was holding his own and beating the dam cancer. I suspect he was being very brave and positive for us all. I just want to echo what everyone else has said here, can't help feeling a little emotional right now."You are in a better place back home on the other side Frank and flying free, no longer restrained by a human body, thank you for being you while you were with us here on earth Frank, we will remember you". I've been able to start putting in some hours working on my hot rod again. Frank said he really liked that it was mostly Mach1 parts.

I'm about to paint some of the interior panels but I have one that will just get a coat of clear.

I have about 10 more helpers that need to sign this panel. My painter will be the last to sign.

Wow! I just saw this...

My condolences go out to his family. I remember seeing alot of posts from Frank in the past and he seemed like a really nice guy! Eventhough I did not know him, its always tough to hear about the death of a fellow mustang enthusiast. Judging by his character, he will definitely be missed!

Folks,

This is a follow up on the passing of Frankie McKnight. Frankie's passing was a loss to the Mustang community as well as those who knew him. I've been helping his mother out, taking her to his memorial, getting her set up as administrator of his estate, etc. Throughout this time she has been saying how rough it's going to be without him and taking care of his final expenses. Mrs. McKnight has asked me to pass the word around to see if any car club or group would be willing to have a benefit or fund raiser cruise in to help her meet some of his expenses. I hesitated to do this, but told her I would.

If any of you gear heads out there would be willing to take up a collection or make a donation, I know she would greatly appreciate it. Any contributions can be made to:

Like I have said many times before, Franks Mom is one of the sweetest ladies I've ever met. I wholeheartedly agree with the decision to send the donations directly to her.
