Indy Motor, Thought I'd Share

Good friend of mine was a mechanic for Ilmor. When he left, they gave him two of these mothers! 161 cubic inch V8, DOHC (duh), and a single turbo pumping out 800HP. ~15K redline. I have half of the bottom of this one mocked up on my desk in my room.

Still trying to get him to let me borrow the turbo to display. Also still trying to buy an entire motor off of him. He said "Sure, $50K and it's yours." haha.

That multi-plate clutch is certainly smaller than I expected. Very cool.
