Re: Sacramento , Calif quality mustang shop

I called them up when I was looking to get my new motor tuned. Shaun was a bit of a prick and I would not even deal with him. I decided to wait til I got back to NJ and took my car to Kevin Hand @ Wicked Performance and he was great!

Shaun can be a prick you just can't be thin skinned,in my o2 he's second to nobody tuning wise but sticks mostly to coyotes and high end 4v builds, won't touch foxbodys or a bolt on 4.6 really..I've heard a few horror stories outta RPM in Stockton they screwed my buddy with a 13 5.0 pretty bad and the tune caused major miss issues AED later fixed..Starkweather in Stockton is the guy I would choose he knows his **** and is somewhat of an *** but manageable,he works with you and will turn a wrench if need be,he's a good ole street racer that knows a dyno

Re: Sacramento , Calif quality mustang shop

Yeah i didnt think AED did installs for bolt on 4.6. The vibe I got when i talked to him is he only wants to do high HP installs and tunes. Either way $1500 for a stockish NA tune from a guy thats a tool...Nah Ill pass!
OP i did meet a guy that helped me out when I got my car back together. I had a PATS problem. Hes a moblie mechanic....ex military and spent countless hours on the phone with me because he was too busy at the time to make it to my place. He came by to check out the Mach after I got it fired up. Hes def a good guy!! I can hook you up with his number if your interested.
