Nitrous A/F numbers?

Curious what some of you nitrous guys are running as far as actual numbers? I've heard everything from 10 to 1 to 12.8 is safe on varying cars. Kinda ridiculous. Would like to know on an actual mach what is considered safe? Have a wideband i'm putting on the car and a wet kit already installed.

Re: Nitrous A/F numbers?

I just had my car on the dyno today. Go dyno it. I found. The pump on my 40,000 mile car was at 80% on motor. Play it safe

Re: Nitrous A/F numbers?

Closest dyno is 5 hours away. I mean my air/fuel will be more accurate with the sensor right after the header as opposed to a sniffer over the tail pipe. I'm seeing 11.7-11.9 with the 75hp. Stepped up to a 100hp and saw 11.9-12.2 If you guys seem to run good in the high 11's i'd feel better with it there. I ordered one size smaller nitrous jet and one size larger fuel to try and get the numbers back in the high 11's. Going to put a fuel filter on it as well even though the car only has 45k miles on it. Thanks for the input guys.

I would up my fuel jet to a larger size and go from there.

You running any colder plug?

I run a mix of 1/2 93 and 1/2 110 race fuel to be safe too but at that size shot I would think a fuel jet change would be ok.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk hopefully if this frickN app is working!!!

Re: Nitrous A/F numbers?

Yea I was running a 47/30 jetting. I picked up a 46 and a 31 to see if I can find a sweet spot. No i'm running the TR55's gapped at 35. I know I need to be running the 6's. I haven't had any issues so far though. I ran a 125shot on my last 4.6 with stock plugs and had no issues. But i'd like to be safer with this one lol. Got my window switch in today and my fuel pressure switch.
