Looking for a new carrier
So the auburn pro that I have is shot. I bought the built rear and have had nothing but problems since owning it. I'm looking for a new carrier to replace it. I was thinking Detroit tru trac. Anyone have experience with these?

Re: Looking for a new carrier
Honestly I love my true trac. Love the street manors and recently took it apart for inspection after 400 + drag strip hits and it is still in good shape. Can't say I would ever go back to a clutch diffy. Of course it's mote $$ than a cobra diff. I really want to try the moser wave track but it is double the price of a true track.
I have had tlocs, auburn, lockers, spools etc and for a diffy that worked great on the street and the track so far the true trac has done it. |

Re: Looking for a new carrier
I don't know if you decided which diff you want but I'll add another plus for the tru trac. It's been in for over a year and I have no complaints. Better straight line traction as well as during cornering. I'm so glad the shop talked me into selling the Auburn I originally bought and going with the tru trac.
