Fuel Leak

Fired up the car and let it warm up and took a ride to get breakfast and notice a smell of fresh gas. Thought possible had an injector stuck open. Once I got back home I popped the hood and noticed the sending unit for a fuel pressure gauge was leaking out the top. Luckily I had the plug from the aftermarket coolant crossover plug laying around and that fit perfectly. Lucky it was FREEZING out or there could have been a fire !! Sending unit was on the car when I bought it in 2007...over 170k.

Re: Fuel Leak

That could have been very bad. Glad you got it sorted out quickly.
