Ok, here we go again! The hill I look forward to the most. 2.3miles and ungodly speeds on that little road.

It's held on the same day as the American Muscle car show at Maple Grove. So if you head to that and leave a little early, come on up. We'll be like 20 min or so away. We'll also be running on Sunday, of course. If it goes like it did last year, it's gonna be a battle. You can take the shuttle to the fire tower from the start line and stand there as I cross at 150

This is for our Duryea event next weekend. You can follow along as they update to see what's going on. We are in Street Mod. I'm #74 and keep an eye on #76. Dan is a mustang driver who is driving his girlfriend's corvette. He's HIGHLY capable in all vehicles. I suspect, he and I will be battleing for top spot in the Street Mod class even though he's in Super Street Mod, which are 2 seaters and the Street Mod class is sedans.

The next car to watch is in ESP. that's my buddy Mark, in the #42 slot, who will destroy the ESP record. The '14 GT is highly capable with a platform way better than the '04 I'm driving. But I'll get him due to hp. If we were even hp-hp, he'd kill me.

We tightened up the exhaust today and welded on some flanges so that it won't come apart again. I figured out the data log nonsense as I had some issues at Polish Mountain. Was using the wrong F'n program so that's been deleted from my laptop. I need to load a tune with +1 deg of timing and start watching in-car.
Friday, we'll go to the hill really early and I'll drive it all day. I'm gonna have this hill down in my memory by Friday night so I know every nook, cranny, bump and bang, from start to finish. From there, I gotta drive my *** off to attack the P1 class cars. No guarantees but I'm going after them again.

Cross your fingers and come watch if you're close. There are a bunch of folks coming.

Not sure what I'm doing yet.
I need to see the extent of the damage.
Motor runs. Pressures are good. No noises that anyone heard. Car drove into the trailer.
I may look tomorrow during the race. But the rad support is trashed. Can't tell what shape the rad and intercooler are in. Its not leaking or hissing. I'll let ya know!

Sorry to hear; if it is only the radiator support then it should not be that expensive, I've done mine twice.

LMR makes part shopping pretty easy and not very expensive. Wish you were closer, I'd come over and help.

Thanks. But I don't think it's just the rad support. I haven't looked at it since i put it in the trailer on Saturday night but it looks like more. Plus the winshield is cracked and looks like the driver's side tire is back several inches. But we'll find out. LOL!

Anyway, here's the rock I hit and how far I was in the air. I went in the air from the rock that's moved, to where you see the impact of the k member support landing on the ground.

Driver's side door wouldn't open. So when I got the all clear to exit the car, I had to push my way out.

That's the picture side. NO ONE was taking video when I went in. I'd love to see it cause I was looking at run #1 and see that the entry into 10(where i crashed) was crazy bumpy. The camera does some really eery stuff there.

This run was tires cold(even after my wife ran as tire warmer!) and NOT doing a damned thing in the corners! Boy was I livid.

Wow, hit those bumps and vibrated the camera right off the mount, those wash board bumps seem very violent.

If you are ever in DFW, I have my factory K-member you are welcome to... Long shot but you never know. May even have the control arms, but will need ball joints.

Very violent. Much of hillclimbing is violent. But the camera didn't come off the mount. It was bolted tight. I'm pretty sure it was such a hard hit on that bump that the shutter closed almost all the way.

Thanks for the offer. I'm not sure what I'm doing with the car yet. With so many folks following us, I almost NEED to rebuild it. Plus they put it in the AM catalog. I'm like....WTF!!!!!!!
