Cams
I finally figured out what cams I am going to use. If finances go well for next year I am planning to have new valves springs retainers and FR500 cams installed next winter. My current cam is 98 cobra cams that aren't degreed. I am going to have a budget of 3k-3500 for this job. I am going to be procharged by then too. The FR500 has a perfect thumb. just ordered 5.0 badges for my fenders in black. Pics coming soon

If you're going with a blower then you need blower cams to max out the combo. But IMO cams aren't really needed in 4v mod motors. Plenty of guys hit 600+ with stock cams. I had Ford GT cams in my BB/S set up. Smooth idle, no issues in traffic, and easy to tune. And still made plenty of power.

Re: Cams
There's better cams for power and "chop" than fr500's. They're a really old design and a lot better grinds can be made. Like mentioned already, I wouldn't waste money or effort on cams. Boost is the way and it's all you need with these cars.

Re: Cams
There's nothing old technology about FR500's. They are perfect for a turbo setup. Just get the lobe centers in the ball park.
