We'll take it any way we can get it. Hope USC can...especially when we lay it on them in New Orleans for the title game. (you might call it home field advantage...we party there on a regular basis )

Yea, cuz LSU just loves to lose BSC games

You're from VA, you should know what we do. Show me USC's equivalent performance this season....

...

...wait for it...

....

... oh yea, that's right, they haven't done much all season. Besides letting Nebraska score 20 on them. That's two scores less than we've allowed all year against 5 teams. And our opponents have been better. USC is overrated, and the nation is beginning to catch on.

Actually...I'm only in Virginia because i'm stationed here, I grew up in the LA area...so that's how I'm an SC fan...consequently a Raiders fan as well

Anywhoo...even if you didn't watch the Nebraska game you could've easily seen the box score and realized USC dominated that game until the last quarter when their first string D took a seat.

So because LSU faced 2 quality opponents to USC's 1 so far, I'm supposed to impressed?

Every LSU fan seems to play the "oh me" role when they're not ranked number#1...then they claim the SEC is so difficult to win in. Then they forget that USC played the SEC 4 years in a row and dominated Auburn and Arkansas for those 4 years.

Do I forget that LSU is good? Nope, they are very good. Do I care that USC dropped to #2? Nope, it makes no difference to me, it's too early. USC has a tough schedule to end the year with. I'm more concerned about the BCS rankings around November and on. Heck I'm also concerned with the number of penalties in last weeks joke against Washington LOL.

What I'm getting at is that it's a bit to early to be excited about who's #1 in the AP/Coaches poll.

As for BCS games...I'm pretty sure USC and Ohio State are tied for the most BCS bowl game victories.

All in good fun!

Re: College Football back in full swing!

unc beating THE U 13-0 in 1st quarter and just blocked a punt. sweet. Now if my Hokies can take care of baby bowden and clemson again, and then watch LSU whip the Gators tonight. That'll be a perfect football weekend.

Re: College Football back in full swing!

We know someone's gonna be upset before the night's over...it's just not gonna be us.
Did you know Gator tastes just like chicken? Lots of tailgaters BBQing up some tasty gator for pre-game consumption...just like what's going to happen on the field. I can't believe the amount of people at the campus, over 150K is the estimate! Only 94K are going to get a seat! The rest don't care...it's Saturday night at Tiger Stadium!

Most certainly no Azz Whuppin tonight, and that thing could have easily gone either way...more likely in favor of Florida. I have a feeling we'll be seeing y'all again in Atlanta for the SEC Championship game. You guys have a team, no question about it. I think we'll be delivering some payback to Auburn later in the season for you. Next week, a surprisingly good Kentucky team...and then the next week you get to pick apart what's left of them!

I think Stanford is now my 'new favorite' team. You should have heard the noise (you probably did) in Tiger Stadium when it was announced that USC had lost!
And now...without question...undoubtedly...

Aggies on top of the Big 12 South after beating OSU. I could not be happier! I take that back, I will be really happy after they beat Texas Tech next week.

Re: College Football back in full swing!

Another crazy week in football. LSU losing in triple overtime, are you kidding me?? Well, if they win out and win the SEC championship game, they should still make it into the national championship game. go hokies.

Re: College Football back in full swing!

Thanks! I've been worried over the past few weeks that Kentucky was an underrated team and could seriously challenge LSUs dominance. We hurt ourselves with poor plays, penalties at seriously wrong times and just flat play. A #1 team can't do that...ever. Just ask USC. For those who watch and care about college football, two things; 1, You haven't heard the last of LSU, and 2, there's going to be a really good game next week: Florida (who we barely beat) vs. Kentucky (who barely beat us)...should be fun to watch!

Re: College Football back in full swing!

Hopefully for LSU fans, they will/should not drop far in the polls. Its a bunch of crap that those dirty condoms(USC trojans) did not drop out of the top ten after losing to stanford. I doubt there will be any undefeated teams this year, so a one loss sec team should be in national championship game.

Re: College Football back in full swing!

ick @ riley not throwing the ball away... Cal could've won that game easily in overtime. Rookie QB ruins the undefeated chances! Cal certainly going to drop far...but not as far as USC surely.
