Rear Louvers worth it?

What is everyone's opinions on the MMD rear window louvers? I'm considering this as my next and more than likely last mod for awhile after my Eaton swap. My wife is not happy with the money I'm spending on Mia. I also don't want to drop $250 if there's a chance I'll regret it later on.

So, any members with them and their experience?

Not familiar with MMD?? I had the Visus louvers that are now produced by MRT and think that they are the top of the line (IMO). Any of the plastic louvers I have seen I do not like, they seem to sag after some time in the sun. I have only seen one other metal louver that looked kind of squared off on the edges and not rounded off like Visus/MRT. (MRT cost $550. I believe)
So Im just curious what they look like.

Re: Rear Louvers worth it?

American Muscle sells a few different kinds of rear louvers. MMD being one of them. They are made with ABS plastic I believe. I'm skeptical of the quality but they seem to get good reviews judging by the site. I'm just wanting some user experience from folks on here.

Thanks.

Re: Rear Louvers worth it?

I did find them on AM and looked at them. I wrote a post here but it never posted.. My computer is strange sometimes with the forum. I thought online they might be the best looking plastic I've seen so far. But what I tried posting before was if no one comments about it, try to go to a large show (like Carlisle) chances are you'll see the add-on your curious about and be able to see it installed and maybe ask questions. That is what finally convinced me to buy the aluminum ones and more specifically the Vissus (now MRT) Louvers. I hope you find your answer's & curious what you find out.
