Re: ABS Pump Delete Brake Manifold

Phil, if you are still making these, what is the lead time from order to final production?

Thanks

I am not ready to delete the ABS yet, but I want to have a manifold delete ready for when I do.....

So does the abs have to be tuned out in the computer or do you just pull the bulb?

You can not turn off the bulb thru a hand held tunner or at a shop. You need to pull the Gauge cluster panel and remove the bulb. Also, you want to pull the ABS fuse under the dash.

Re: ABS Pump Delete Brake Manifold

Some kudos for Phil.

I bought one for my Amer Iron road race car and have several road races with his product and not one problem.
Very good work and service.
Thanks, Phil

Thanks Mike! If you get a chance, could you post a pic of the delete manifold installed?

Re: ABS Pump Delete Brake Manifold

Hey Phil,

I've got my car in the shop for a blower and they're gonna put c-clip elims and GT rear brakes on it too. SO.....since we're gonna have to bleed the brakes (and my anti-locks are history anyway) I might as well put one of these on it.

I want you to ship it to the shop that's doing the work.

e-mail me at jmeredith@ranchoviento.com

You will have to hide the ABS harness (using a tie wrap) where it can not be seen. I wraped the harness end with electrical tape and tie wraped to radiator support frame area. You need to pull the ABS fuse under the dash too.

Do you happen to know the location of the fuse?

Mine's been disabled in the computer anyway but I thought I'd pull it.

It's located under the drivers dash, you will need the owners manual to see what number fuse it is. I can't locate my manual right now

How did you disable the ABS thru the computer?
