wolfe roll bar
so i want to install a roll bar in my mach for safety reasons and i did want to see what she'll run at the track. I do not want to butcher my interior, does anyone have experience with wolfe's kit? i see it runs through the rear speaker area, can i continue to run my speakers? how bad do i have to cut that panel? I also see what looks like 2 amps in my trunk area, its all factory stuff but i don't see how i can retain these items with this kit. any insight is appreciated. also what does a 4 point roll bar certify me to? thanks guys

Re: wolfe roll bar
4 pt gets you nothing. I have an s&w and you do give up alot of stuff with the bar. (mine runs through where the back seats used to be) With any rollbar, you shouldnt ever have someone ride in the rear seat anyway, so depending on how you look at it, your giving that up. Maximum motorsports bar goes into the rear quarter panel in the interior but doesnt really effect anything but that panel and some carpeting. if you were looking to ever cut it out. In my opinion, I wouldnt get a rollbar until you need it. When i put mine in i didnt need it and i still dont technically need it (not for much longer though) and i find myself missing my back seat. You gotta pay to play the game.

Re: wolfe roll bar
i really dont want side bars, that completely kills the street-ability, if you ask me. i dont care about the back seat but i do care about my interior components. i figured it'd be good to have for added stability and if i wanted to track it, i'd be set. some thinking to do. thanks

Re: wolfe roll bar
Swing outs are for the door bars and can be removed, I have these as well. You need door bars to be legal at the track. The rear bars in any configuration cannot be removable and still be legal to run at the track. I cannot speak for the wolf bar and rear speakers. If it turns out you loose your speakers, look into a different brand bar.

You could always remove the rear speakers with the amp rack and install a new setup with an aftermarket amp, speakers, and head unit. It would sound better too. There are two amps with two tweeters and two larger speakers on that rack.
