Am I the only one that doesnt like the 10.5" on the rear?

Do they look different in person bc I just dont like the way they look in the pics? It just looks funny to have that much lip in the rear but almost flush in the front.

It makes the wheel look like its sitting in towards the rear end.

Factory is the same if not worse. Maybe try using stock up front.

I was on the fence when I was looking into them too but once they're on the look amazing. I love the wheels. I have a set of stock wheels I use for the track and I just don't ever see myself going back to that stock wheel.

Re: Am I the only one that doesnt like the 10.5" on the rear?

I have the 10.5 AFS Mach 1 rims on the back. I liked them but I guess I have outgrown them. I am running factory in the front and putting the AFS 9s on the back this week. I needed new tires for the 10.5s but the clearcoat on my 10.5s have not held up and were looking really rough. I have entered my Mach in the 50th anny show in Charlotte and those rims were going to need work so I opted to order the AFS 9s and go with 275 tires in the back. I couldn't find pictures of anybody with this set up so I am holding my breath that I like it. I may need to go with spacers in the back to bring the wheels out some.

I don't like them either. I do however, like the staggered look. I run the AFS Black Max 17x9" with the 275x40s all the way around. I then run a 1/2" spacers on the rear for the staggered look. I had people last year at Carlisle leaning down and looking along side of my Mach, trying to figure out the set up I had. It makes the tires on the rear look a size or two larger when actually they are the same all the way around.

This thread motivated me and I got the AFS 17X9s on this afternoon. Looks better than I had hoped. The AFS rims in the back with stock in the front give me that slightly staggered look without looking out of balance. My concern about the AFSs not filling out the rear fenderwells was unfounded.

I run stock 8's on the front and 9's on the back they were after market Mach but black so I had them powder coated same color as the front. I DON't like huge tires on the back besides the bigger the tire the slower your ET.

Does the AFS gray match the stock wheels?? I thought about getting 9" for the back and runing stock wheels on the front, but I was concerned if the AFS gray would match the factory wheels.

They match pretty good, its not perfect though, i can see a slight difference in mine but i learned to live with it, most people wont notice it, the lighting has alot to do with it too.

Well, I guess nothing is perfect on these cars!! I've had two Mach 1s that were low miles and both had factory flaws. It just seems that fitment and other issues just wasn't that great back in 2004 for Ford!!

Re: Am I the only one that doesnt like the 10.5" on the rear?

I'm still baffled the wheels have silver accents and not black. Pretty sure their idea for the Mach was loud, in-your-face colors(other then black), with contrasting matte black...

oh and silver.

Beautiful mach, I didn't know that those rear window covers fit the mach. What tires do you have?

Btw 10.5" wheels look incredible in person IMO.

I just saw this thread. So, if you don't like the difference by running 10.5" in the rear and something else on the front, run 10.5" all the way around. Then it all matches
