Re: Mustang Alley - Michigan Aug. 16-18, 2012
I see there is about 10 machs registered. Hoping for a good turn out. Always a good time! I think they are limiting it to 800 Mustangs this year! I think there are about 400 registered so far.!!
Probably head up on Thursday, MRT normally has and OPEN HOUSE.

Yes, the open house should be on Friday. Also, the Ford folks arrange for events on Friday so there are a variety of options.

Re: Mustang Alley - Michigan Aug. 16-18, 2012
Dave, there is a White Castle restaurant that is a mile south of the entrance to Mustang Alley. It's right on Woodward just a bit north of 8 Mile Rd. It's a good staging place to head into the entrance. I probably am going to get the IMBOC people to meet there as well.

Re: Mustang Alley - Michigan Aug. 16-18, 2012
I believe this is the White Castle location (that Tony mentioned) on Woodward we can meet at to get grouped together in the Morning and head up to Mustang Alley.
I think we can just go up Hilton Road to 9 mile road. http://goo.gl/maps/XpKb Now 774 Cars registered!

This is the White Castle, which is just a bit north of Woodward and 8 Mile Road.
The address is 21400 Woodward Ave, Ferndale, MI.

Looks like Registration is Full! I see we have about 23 Mach 1's registered,
Hopefully we can group together and/or meet at White Castle Parking lot on Sat. Morning on Woodward around a certain time in the morning like 7am?, the Alley opens at 7AM for parking. They said they will try and keep the Clubs together if you enter together. See everyone soon.

Re: Mustang Alley - Michigan Aug. 16-18, 2012
I recommend that we meet at the White Castle as indicated above at 7:00am to stage for driving in together. The Mach 1 Registry does have a designated club area which you can be parked at later.
Please look at the following parking graphic for the Mach 1 parking area.

Friday Night M1R Dinner w/Scott Hoag, John Clor
Please indicate if you are interested in attending the Friday night dinner (17-Aug) at 6:00pm with Scott Hoag of MRT (formerly Team Mustang at Ford) and John Clor (Ford Performance Group). We hope to have a couple of other Ford folks there as well.
The location of the dinner is at CJs Brewing Company, 14900 Beck Road Plymouth, MI 48170. This is very near the MRT shop.

Please review the Event Parking tab on our website for a list of lots that have been assigned to clubs. We've tried to accommodate as many clubs as possible. Mustang Alley Entrance... Be patient!!! We're going to get you in as fast as possible · Try to arrive with friends if you want to park together. If you can't arrive together, try to pre-stage with them offsite. We promise not to break you up in the entrance line. Once a club lot fills, you'll be directed to an Open Parking location. · Do not line up early. We don't want anyone getting a ticket. If you are waiting in line to get in, DO NOT STOP ON THE RAILROAD TRACKS. If your car is starting to overheat while you're in line, honk you horn. Stop at the Mustang Alley Registration Tent and one of our volunteers will check for your name Pay the Ferndale personnel your $20 fee Pull forward, then Stop to receive parking directions. You'll be asked if you are you parking with a club or would you like to be parked in open parking. We'll radio ahead and give you directions. Drive slow... people will be walking. They will all be wearing red volunteer shirts. The volunteers will guide you to the nearest exit. · The flow of traffic on 9-Mile is from east to west only. Drive slow and be safe. We expect higher than average pedestrian traffic in the Alley. If you're on the wait list, arrive after 10:00. If we have room, we'll try to get you in. In years past, we've told you that you can park and cruise. The same rules apply this year. Saving spots is not allowed. If you do leave to cruise Woodward, you leave at your own risk. Remember, we've filled Ferndale. We will fill your spot with the next car waiting to get in. When you return, we'll try to get you into the next available spot. Re: Mustang Alley - Michigan Aug. 16-18, 2012
To all who donated to sponsor the Mustang Alley Club Shirt –
We want to thank you for your generosity and willingness to help us raise money for our charities. Due to the number of sponsors we received and the anticipated sales of that shirt – the numbers don’t exactly work out. As always, with everything we sell our goal is to raise funds to donate. The shirt is at a brake even point, which does not help our charities. We have made the decision to suspend the club sponsored shirt for this year to allow us to print more of our larger volume shirts. In the next week I will go through the PayPal account and issue full refunds of the sponsorship amount to all. Thank you again for your willingness to donate, were sorry it didn’t work out, but you never know until you try. See you in less than 3 weeks! Sincerely, Joseph L. Frank Mustang Alley Co-Chairman Ford Motor Company WWW.MUSTANGALLEY.NET ********************* We let them keep the money for charity and they recognized us. Weve made an addition to our chairity raffle sponsor page. Click the link and scroll down... http://www.mustangalley.net/raffle.asp Thank you for your donation.
