Re: What to do to get 300 rwhp on a Mach 1
I need to go have mine dynoed. It already had MAC Headers, lethal performance high flow catt'ed X pipe, Magnaflow Magnapac cat baacks. It was also costumed tuned by Bamma after putting in a the JLT coldair/ramair kit. With those mods what should I be making at the dyno? Any help would be nice, don't really want to go and pay to have it dynoed just to get an idea.

Re: What to do to get 300 rwhp on a Mach 1
Cats are causing you a few ponies, an intake spacer should help some, then a LMAF 90mm and a 62 or 65 MM TB would be a nice addition. Then after that get a custom tune from a popular shop. Then strap some 4.30-4.56's with a tire on and have fun.

Re: What to do to get 300 rwhp on a Mach 1
I'm trying to upload a sound clip but it won't let me do it. It was just me hanging my iphone out of the window though haha. I'll try and make a better one and email it to you or if you have an iphone pm your number and I'll send you a video. I've drive a lot of Mach's and a ton of mustangs and i gotta say, in my humble opinion the Mach 1 engine with my set up is hard to beat

Re: What to do to get 300 rwhp on a Mach 1
I put mine on a dyno a few weeks ago and it put down 290hp and 315tq. I have a SCT handheld base tune, 4.10's, JLT ram air intake, and a Bassani catback. I just got some BBK long tubes and plan to order a PHP intake spacer soon so once I get those put on I'm hoping to pass 300hp. Oh and my car also has 103k on the engine as well.

Re: What to do to get 300 rwhp on a Mach 1
I've got an 04 mach manual with 100K miles. It has JLT RAI, Stock 3.55 gears, MAC off road H-Pipe, flowmaster weld in mufflers and Bama Tunes, anyone know where about I would be in terms of SAE numbers?

Re: What to do to get 300 rwhp on a Mach 1
My 04 has BBK long tubes only right now, when I get back from asscrackistan it's getting a JLT Next gen CAI, BBK 65mm TB, cobra 39lb injectors, 40,000V coil packs, exeddy flywheel, and mach 500 clutch, magnaflow cat back, and a complete 31 spline conversion. And yes its getting DR's to. I'm putting 3:73's in because its a daily driver, it will get 4:30's or 56's in the future when it's just a weekend racer/driver. I'm looking forward to seeing what my dyno numbers will be. And sugestions on tuners in Texas, and on handheld like diablo SCT or bama?

Re: What to do to get 300 rwhp on a Mach 1
Finally went to a dyno day.
322.5 HP and 349.5 T Mods are: Magna flow catted x-pipe and cat-back with magnapacks. JLT air intake pipe, Spectre air filter (the biggest one I could find that fits). DiabloSport Predator tune. |
