I’d also venture to say the Bullitt sales is regional. Our local 2019 Bullitt sold with 9 hours of being in the showroom.

Pick your poison.
I agree on sales of the Bullitt, two Ford dealers within 5-7 miles from us have a combined total of 7. They run specials on them, but we are still talking 50 grand

There's nothing about that car that justifies the price for me, it's nice and clean looking but it doesnt have enough extra power/suspension to justify itself imho. For 50k Im buying a used 350

Re: 2021 Mach1!!!

There are a lot of price reductions now on the '19 Bullitts, such that many of them are in the $40s now.

I think one will have to have ask themselves if they are ready to pay for a $50K new Mach 1 because I think this is the range they will be in when they go on sale.

I’d definitely look at many different dealerships, because I think they’ll make deals on the Bullitts.

I agree, if there’s a new Mach, it’ll be in the $50k range.

No, not willing or able now that I am retired! Car sales are down, delinquencies on car loans are in the millions. The new Mustangs are nice but have lost their DNA, to many gadgets. You can easily add the price of another car in options!

Yeah, I can’t see myself doing that at my age. I think I am more content to keep my retro looking, but not “option loaded with electronic gadgets” 03 Mach 1. I also doubt if there will be a Mach 1 less than $60,000 in my area, because dealer markups are the norm on these specialty cars here.

Spy shots are cool but it just looks the same as the rest to me. Hopefully they’ll do something to get it to stand out more. The shaker in the 03/04’s still turn heads!

Agreed! There needs to be mechanical differences in that car, or it will be nothing more than a GT with emblems.

Re: 2021 Mach1!!!

Looks like we'll be getting the 480 horse 5.0 from the Bullitt for the '21 Mach 1. Same engine code.

lame. Well, from what we've seen and heard so far I'd say there's no danger of this one ending up in my garage

Re: 2021 Mach1!!!

Not enough information to care right now. Our 03/04s made 45 HP/15 lb/ft TQ more than the standard GT. If this comes with just the 480 HP 5.0 no thanks. 505-520 HP/460+ TQ M6/A10 would make it appealing with a little different interior.

Thoughts?

Re: 2021 Mach1!!!

I am glad to see it. Just hope they do justice to the Name.
Most recent bullitt was a great car, but basically a loaded pp1 car with DHG paint for 53k (480 hp too)

there are a lot of 2019's still on the lots and going for low 40's now...

Who knows..in a year. Maybe...have to be a lot more car than my 2019 though.

We shall wait to see...

Re: 2021 Mach1!!!

They better be hiding one heck of a hood under the camo. It can have all the power and handling in the world but if it lacks the attitude, I have no interest in it. Really hope they are not making the same mistake GM did with the GTO. They were performers but didn't live up to the GTO name in the looks/attitude department.

Re: 2021 Mach1!!!

Rumor has it these are the only two pre-production Mules in existence. One is a 2015 and the other a 2018 chassis. According to my friend who is at Tulsa, the The ford reps said the engineering team is far from done with the car. Which is good is suppose. Remember the original one that was shown in Tulsa was sporting an earlier cobr 4v...

Who knows. If they pay attention to the mustang boards and blogs at all maybe there will be some changes...

I do like your rendering though...
