Test Drove an 08 Shelby KR - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

My buddy just purchased an 08 Shelby GT500 KR . It was a leftover with eight miles on her . Took it for a test drive , unfortunately no boost until 50 miles ! WTF ??? What was really funny is that when he test drove it , it would not go over 40 MPH . He paid sticker BTW ! Still to fkn expensive for my taste . Next week ill get to chk. it out with the boost . Feels nice and sounds great .

nice! i want one. i guess its a good thing that boost doesnt kick in till 50 miles cause im sure people would wreck them

Looked at an '08 KR as well today and the dealer in Waldorf wants $120K for it. I thought that was Super Snake price. Your buddy got a deal if he only paid MSRP. I worked at a dealer 2 yrs. ago and drove a GT (the supercar)...neat car but slipped a disc getting in and out of it.

Wow!!! I've got a buddy locally who's got a 2010 Shelby GT-500 on order and due in next week that's paying slightly less than MSRP. I believe it's in the $46K range.

Sweet ride.. my only gripe was the removal of the 20" Alcoa wheels that appeared on the KR concept. At least Super Snake owners still get 'em.

My boss has an 07 Gt500 Blue with white stripes has about 500 miles on it! He was pissed when the KR came out so he bought one of those as well! It is an 08 - silver with Blue stripes. He had never driven it! Had it dropped off at his house and then backed it in the Garage! About a month ago he got the urge, drove it around the block, now has like 15 miles on it! I wish I had 150 grand to drop on two cars!

Ebay has a 2007 Shelby 500 thats white with a RED package with only 18 mines on it for only 39,000, Not bad
