First v8 and I'm glad its a 03 dsg mach 1

Hey whats up guys. Want to introduce my self. Name is Lalo I drive a 2003 dsg mach 1. It's my first v8 and I must say I fell in love with it from the first day I drove it I've always been stuck between getting a f body or a mach and no lie mach 1 look so much better and you hardly see any here in the bay area CA. I grew up around nothing but f body's and ls motor so I gotta show the family that fords are fast to. Not sure what exactly I wanna do with the car in the future for sure go full bolt ons. Right now its stock but I ordered my x pipe and cat back already so lets so how much different it is with it. Ive biult four cylinders so lets see what I can do with this bad boy can't wait!!!

Heres a pic of my car.

Welcome to the forum from TX,
Your going to love the sound of having V8, don't get me wrong I had a 02 T/A and man love the power the LS1 puts out with just simple bolt ons, but it was a auto. ended up coming back to a mustang (98 Cobra) and just love having the mustang v8 sound.
Welcome again and enjoy yourself, a great group here.

just know your mach is not going to re act with bolt ons like those LS do. but with enough time and money you will be up there.
enjoy the shaker, that was my favorite part of the Mach

Welcome DR6M1

Agree with you, there's nothing quite like the Mustang sound, especially 4V with aftermarket exhaust.

I'm sure I'll give them ls boys a run for the money I'm stock right now and I got a couple under my belt even some with bolt ons. I just had drag radials and I was putting bus length on digs

glad to here, just throw a 100 shot on and you will have some real fun with those LS guys
I ran a zex 125shot and man does it wake up the Mach, just get tired of refilling the bottle. thought about throwing a zex kit on my Cobra, but I'll just hold off and wait for sc down the road, looking at either a new KB 6 or 8 psi kit or getting a used vortech or procharger down the road. all in good time
