H3R Performance installed
Got around to mounting the clean agent (halon) fire extinguisher a few weeks back. It took some time to decide where to place it, but I'm happy so far with where it resides. I can easily reach behind the seat while buckled up and pop the safety latch and free the unit in about 1-2 seconds. It's also out of direct sunlight and the added weight (maybe 4-5lbs) is down low and centered between the front and rear ends. Not that it matters a lot for a street car, but still..

Re: H3R Performance installed
nice!
Ive considered off on and on a halon system that sprays directly into the engine bay. I was discussing this with the guy that services our extinguishers at work and the downside to halon is that it wont do anything to prevent re-ignition. If theres a fuel source being ignited by a spark youve still gotta remove one of the two or it will keep reigniting. A powder extinguisher coating things can help keep it from re-igniting (I know the powder has the drawbacks of making a big fat mess and can be corrosive as well)

Re: H3R Performance installed
You'll have a lot of options for mounting with the cage you're putting in. You should post up a pic of where it ends up.
