well...for me I will not be installing a center dash bar. It isn't a required so I am not doing it. I will be using cross gussets...at top of bars and redoing bottom plates.

Re: cage install oh boy..

I installed the dash bar and kept the heat\radio\AC. I put the bar in real low.

Re: cage install oh boy..

Yeah. I don't think I am doing it. I know I have a lot of rewiring to do.

Re: cage install oh boy..

Finally getting closer...been a long time since updating but I just need a few more done. Seat braces welded and floor tabs for belts welded in. Handle mount for my parachute.
I fitted my seats and trimmed up upper dash and got the bars CLOSE as possible to interior. I HOPE to have it NEXT weekend back at my shop so I can paint cage and install my windshield. THEN goes to ROY for wiring....

Re: cage install oh boy..

Looking great. What a ton of work. I'm hoping I can keep myself to 10.0 with a 6 point.

Re: cage install oh boy..

Just finished mine. A project indeed. This is team z new cage for 99-04. I have to say it was an amazing fit. I only adjusted the height of the main hoop. The rest i just cleaned up fitted and got to work.I opted not to do swing outs for now due to added weight. I may do them down the line. Sorry I didnt take pics of the the progress but here was the finished product.

Re: cage install oh boy..

Doing a hammercoat on bar. Really wanted a tough look that matched the color of the car. Just did a small section to get an idea. Going to look bad a$$
