Is the Mach your 1st Stang?

Did you own another Mustang before your current Mach 1?

I had a 94 V6 that was heavily modded.

 Yes it is. Actually this is my first Ford. The car is so unique with the shaker hood as far as Mustangs go. All aluminium engine DOHC, Shaker hood which works not just cosmetic. Didnt buy it to mod it its a fun car to drive and gets good mileage as long as you dont matt the fuel pedal :HOPPY: Which BTW isnt easy hehe.

Make a long story short...
Had a buddy back in high school that bought one of the first Mustangs, a 6 cylinder, 3 speed on the floor, 1965 model. We used to ride around in it back in the summer of 65. I can remember us crusing drive ins listening to the Stones. Always wanted a Mustang. I never really could afford one (college costs, family, etc.) until I bought my 01 GT. Now I've moved up to the Mach. :HOPPY:

I've gone thru 3 1965's, a 1967, 2003 GT, just to get to the '03 Mach. In brtween all those, had: 72 Pinto 4 cyl 4 speed manual, 76 Pinto hatchbach V6 auto, 74 Merc Capri V6 4 speed manual, 81 Turbo Trans Am (BIGGEST piece of junk!!) 93 Escort wagon auto, 94 Escort wagon 5 speed manual, 2000 Windstar, and 2001 Ranger Edge 4X4 Auto. Only GM I had cost me a BUNCH in tow bills. Blue Oval rocks!!

My first stang was a bonefied 64 1/2 (honeycomb front grille), I never got it completely restored at that time, did'nt have the money to do it.
So I sold it to a local company named "Oswalt's Mustangs" same last name as mine
I kick my self in the a*# every day now for not trying to keep it somehow.
Ohwell, I am turning over a new leaf and I will actively participate in the collection of classic stangs once again:THUMBSUP:

My first Mustang was a '65 Silver Blue 3spd coupe bought in the spring of '66. Man was that car fun. Never had to ride alone and it ran great, in its' class.

My son and I built a '65 coupe race car and ran it until June. We sold it. He went on to motorcycle racing and I bought the Mach 1. I am just like everyone on this site, I love my Mach.

Next project: '89 - '92 Fox body. Baseline: 408W stroker, built C4, spooled 9" 4:11 or 4:34 maybe 4:56.

Don't ya just love Mustangs and all the things you can do to them? :HOPPY:

Got my first new Mustang in 1970, a competition yellow fastback Grabber Package with 302. Keep it till 1992. In 1973 picked up a 1970 428 SCJ convertible and keep for 4 years. Ordered a new 1990 LX 5.0 hatchback and drove for seven years till I traded in in on a 1995 Linclon Mark VIII LSC. I felt "naked" not driving a Mustang after all those years so my wife bought me a nice used '89 LX 5.0. This year she decided I needed a new '03 Mach 1 and surprised me a couple of months ago with my dream Mustang. I guess she got tired of hearing me talk about how great one would be as well as buying every magazine that said the word "Mach 1" in it and leaving it lying around opened to that page :!!: . Yeap, I got me one smart wife:THUMBSUP: .

I had a 91 LX 5.0 that I bought as a lease return first. Then I got a 78 duece with a 302 for a beater. It was fun, but what a beater!! But I moved up this year and very happy with that choice.

My heavily modded 97 cobra got totalled so i decided to replace it with a new mach.

Yes after two years of time, all the money, and love i lost the cobra. And i didnt think i would be complete without another SVT.

Well happy to report i am more than satisfied with the new mach.

I've owned several Mustangs, but this is the first one that keeps my heart racing even well after I've shut her off. Actually, I don't know if the Mach ever really shuts off. I think I can hear it it the parking lot right now. I gotta go.

I've had 5 Mustangs since 1972. A '67 coupe, '71 Mach1, '72 Mach1, '85 GT, and my new '03 Mach1. Still own 2. Had to let the '72 go, so I could get the '03. The wife also has an '02 Mustang and says 3 of 'em at a time is enough.
After 25 years you'd think I'd understand her!

This is my 3rd Mustang. I still have the first two but I can only drive one at a time. I have a 98 V6 that I drive everyday and through the winter. The 1966 Mustang stays close to home. It's too good to tear apart as a project right now, but it needs a little work, like brake work, slight tuning. The Mach1 is the most fun to drive I think, but that old 1966 gets alot more looks.

This is my first Stang & I love it. I've wanted one for many years and after college I was finally able to buy it. I kept my Ranger to drive daily, so the Mach stays pretty all the time
