Re: Window problem
not sure why it would only rattle when its down but the door panels arent bad to take off.
If I recall you need to pop the cover off the tweeters (small flat blade screw driver works, i believe there may even be an indention or two). One side of the panel has a push pin. Then you need to remove the pocket door insert and unplug the controls. Theres some screws that mount the panel to the door there. Then you remove the little cup around the door handle and theres a screw back there too I think. The panel lifts up and off. Putting it back on is a little trickier lining up all the tabs, getting it over the door lock post etc...

Re: Window problem
Yes there's a track assembly the windows ride in, there's no felt down there. I wouldn't let it go. Thinking about it, one of the plastic clips that holds the window to the track may have popped off and that's why it rattled when it's down, no felt and rubber to hold it in place

Re: Window problem
ok i took the door apart and the front slider on the very front of the window came un glues
they have it siliconed from the factory cleaned it up used permatex ultra black installed it back into place and the rattle is fixed. So those of you with window problems and want to attack the project yourself its not that bad to take the door apart 1 push pin and 4 screws total and some patience. Mine is back together tighter then stock |

My door mount toward the front of the car came off the window too. When you reattached with Permatex Ultra Black, did you reattach with the window down or all the way up? It seems like it would go back in the track easily, but I was curious how you did it. Thx
