I've been running Mobil 1 Synthetic in it since I bought it back in 2004. I've used it in all the Mustangs I've owned

Started with Mobil1. switched to Amsoil about 15 years ago. use it in the 2019 as well

Stock motor I always ran Mobil 1 full synthetic. 5W-20 the first few years, 5w-30 after that. When I pulled the valve covers the top end looked great (around 80k miles)
Built motor I run Driven fully synthetic 5w-50 (cam bores are a little loose, per the builder) Daily beater 3.5 ecoboost got motorcraft blend for years, doing my own oil changes now I'm using Mobil 1 full synthetic.

Been running Castrol Edge 5W20 and it's been nothing less than the best thing I've ever run. The OE Motorcraft had the engine making more noise, but the Mobil 1 was my worst experience. Killed my fuel mileage and ran so sluggish, I got it out within days. Heard such great things about it, I tried it a few years later to give it another go, same results.

Mine was noisy at startup with Mobil 1 5W-20. Switched to 5W-30 after reading a thread from a Ford modular engine engineer on Corner Carvers who said to not use anything thinner than 5W-30 after what he saw on their durability tests on these engines. No more startup noise since.

Mobil 1 5W-20 synthetic since the beginning my first oil change, just might look into the Castrol Edge though.
