Quad Shocks

I took the quad shocks off when I put on LCA's and now that I'm back on stock control arms I'm putting the quad shocks back on... But I don't know which way to put them on! Are they left/right specific or can they be put on either side? Anyone have pictures?

I'm assuming the bigger part is towards the back of the car, and to me it looks like they could be flipped 180 and used either way, on either side of the car. But just checking... They do have different numbers stamped on them...

Smile Re: Quad Shocks

It looks like it is the other way around. Skinny end on the axle and the fat end on the top.

Re: Quad Shocks

Skinny end towards the axle. Heres a pic of my car with the rear out during an install of new 430 rear.

Re: Quad Shocks

Heck no it doesn't matter! That is what you sometimes have to do when installing BIG tires on the rear...FLIP the quads! I did it on my 94! Easy.
