750+ HP Whipple GT500 Video, HQ HD 720p

This is my first attempt at putting together a decent video. I've been trying to teach myself adobe after effects and premiere pro and this is the outcome. It's been a good learner project. I shot the video with a canon 550d/t2i. For these clips I used a kit lens 18-55, and my sigma 10-20.

I'm trying to transition from photography to videography, but it seems there's a LOT more involved in editing video than a single picture, lol.

Let me know what you think.

When you watch the video don't forget to change the quality to 720HD.

Heck of a job. I really like the video. Music choice fits, and good flow of action and still shooting. The second screen change is a shot like you'd see in a commercial by Ford. Also like the rear wheel on the dyno and the burnout.

Two Thumbs Up!

Great video. Seems like your editing skills are past good. If the camera wasn't as shaky, I would've thought it was done by a professional.

You're a bit to critical of yourself. Great work!

Re: 750+ HP Whipple GT500 Video, HQ HD 720p

It's hard to keep it from shaking a bit. I just don't have the money to spend thousands on rigs. I'll hopefully get a bit better with the steadicam I built.

Re: 750+ HP Whipple GT500 Video, HQ HD 720p

I bought the same camera at Christmas. I haven't gotten around to the video yet... I'm still learning LOTS about what it can do with stills.

Great Job!

it's an awesome camera for video, but to make it looks good you need to have good editing programs also.

I should have it back up there later on in the week or next week sometime. Gotta put the trans back in. It should be ready tomorrow. I don't know how much power it will put down thru the auto though. I wish I would have gotten a chance to make a pull at 25psi. The most I ever pushed it was 20psi. I had too light of a spring in the wastegate. I have a bigger spring now. So it should be good..

I like to music that's a little different than your average video.
