Very cool.

Have you tried to scuff the cam covers up any? I did mine earlier this year and they looked muuuchh better afterwards. If you do it, take a before and after pic. Your eyes will be happy, but your fingers won't be.

No, I must've deleted them. But mine were starting to look like yours.

Re: Custom coil covers installed!

Their's like 2 or 3 different strength pads you can buy. Get the least abrasive one. It'll clean up the oxidation that accumulates on the valve covers over the years. I bought the Ford Racing blue valve covers 10 years ago.

I used extremely fine steel wool, but I'd use something else next time because it made a bit of a mess. Maybe try what thunderbolt said.

Yes, valve cover=cam cover on a modular engine.

Ok!! Wanted to make sure you weren't referring to the timing chain cover. I'm so used to calling it valve covers but cam covers work too. haha! Sounds like a good winter project when I'm bored!

It's not bad, they clean up pretty easily. But I'd wait until winter too if it's as hot there as it is here. lol

LOL! It's not the heat. It's the potential downtime. Deff not as hot as there!

There wasn't any downtime for me, didn't even unhook anything other than the intake tube I don't think. Just worked around everything as best as I could.
