Excuse my dirty engine bay as im right in the middle of installing the sullivan and changing up some things.. Cant wait to see what it does for my setup. At this point im pretty sure i will meet my head restrictions but im gonna see how far they will get me. Not going to lie, this is the first time ive ever dealt with a manifold like this on a 4v so some things are new to me. Not bad though!

I have to extend my IAC wiring, and Maf harness as well. I had to space the upper lid 1.25" up as recommended by Sullivan to clear my Alternator because i left it in the stock location. Im trying to decide how i might my throttle cable and bracket setup. The funniest part is my JLT CAI will work perfect with a 90 degree coupler on it lol Just going to relocate my temp sensor finally lol (lazy approach). Also clean up all the yucky wiring now since its really all exposed now.

Any other 4v NA guys running a sullivan?

Re: Sullivan intake..

What are you using for the lower intake? Just a 4V 4bbl intake?

Re: Sullivan intake..

I'm curious, have you finished installing everything for the Sullivan intake yet?
If so, what do you think of it compared to the old ported manifold? Have you gotten any dyno numbers from it? Is there much noticeable loss in the low-mid range power/response?

Re: Sullivan intake..

Did you do a cam change as well?

I run a ported sully on mine with an HPP upper.

Ported short runner combo made 473hp with peak hp at 6800. The sulley combo makes right at 500 with larger cams with pk hp at 7800. It lost about 25lb/ft of tq. I like the sully combo better at the track but not as fun on the street.
