I'm a vehicle service contract claims adjuster for Zurich, so I get phone calls from different dealerships all across the country. This morning, I took a phone call from a Bill Hamilton from Stokes Mazda/VW in Charleston. That in itself is coincidental because my wife and I purchased 3 Hondas from Stokes back in the late 1980's-early 1990's when we lived in Charleston.

Of course, I remembered your name and thinking it was you I asked him if he (you) owned a Mach 1 (or two). He said no, but then asked me "are you talking about the Bill Hamilton associated with the Air Force"? I remember you talking about the Air Force base, so I said yes. He then said that he was in the Air Force many years ago (has since retired) but had met you years ago at some get together at the Air Force base BECAUSE you two have the same name. Anyway, it was a strange course of events, thinking it was you, then it wasn't you, then the Bill Hamilton I was talking to ended up knowing who you are AND the fact that he was retired Air Force as well. STRANGE!!!

Yes we do live in a small world at times (LOL). I meet him a few years ago. My 1st Sgt owns a VW and took it in for service and this gentleman gave him a ride to the base since he was retired and would'nt have any problems getting on base. I meet him then in the squadron and we talked for a while but couldn't piece together any common relatives in our backgrounds.
